C&C 27 Mk V
Description
The C&C 27 Mk V is a Canadian sailboat designed by the C&C Design Group and first built in 1984. It is a small recreational keelboat built predominantly of fiberglass, featuring a masthead sloop rig and a fixed keel. The boat is available in standard fin and shoal draft versions, with a draft of 4.83 ft (1.47 m) with the standard keel and 3.5 ft (1.1 m) with the optional shoal draft keel. It is equipped with a Japanese Yanmar 1GMF diesel engine of 7.5 hp (6 kW) for docking and maneuvering, with a fuel tank holding 10 U.S. gallons (38 L; 8.3 imp gal) and a freshwater tank with a capacity of 15 U.S. gallons (57 L; 12 imp gal). The Mark V exhibits high-quality construction and is known for its performance in the small keelboat category. Ballast: 1715 lbs. (778 kg.) Produced in the mid 1980s.
