Brown Searunner 25 Tri

Description

The Searunner 25 (often stylized as "Sea Runner 25") is a classic trimaran sailboat designed by renowned multihull designer Jim Brown in 1968. It's the smallest model in the Searunner series, celebrated for its lightweight construction, folding amas (outer hulls) for easy trailering, and excellent performance as a coastal cruiser. Built primarily from 1/4-inch plywood, it's a light-displacement vessel that's responsive, stable, and capable in a variety of conditions, including choppy seas. The design emphasizes simplicity, affordability, and seaworthiness, making it popular among amateur builders and sailors who value multihull speed without sacrificing ease of handling.
