Bristol 19 (Sailstar Corinthian)
Description
The Bristol 19 (originally the Sailstar Corinthian 19) is a classic fiberglass daysailer and pocket cruiser designed by the legendary Carl Alberg in 1966. Acquired and produced by Bristol Yachts (founded by Clinton Pearson) after they purchased Sailstar Boat Co., it was built until 1980, with approximately 700 hulls completed. Intended as a safe, stable one-design racer or family daysailer for protected waters like bays, lakes, or coastal inlets, the Bristol 19 features a full keel for tracking and stability, making it forgiving for beginners yet capable for club racing. Its compact size and trailerable weight allow easy transport, while positive flotation ensures unsinkability.
