Bristol 29
Description
The Bristol 29 is a classic fiberglass sailboat designed by Halsey C. Herreshoff and built by Bristol Yachts in Rhode Island from 1966 to 1971, with approximately 125 units produced. It’s a full-keel, heavy-displacement cruiser known for its seaworthiness and sturdy construction, making it ideal for coastal cruising and occasional offshore passages. Often confused with the later Bristol 29.9 (a different design), the Bristol 29 shares lineage with the Bristol 27 but offers a slightly larger platform with improved accommodations.
