Boatex 800

Boatex 800

Description

The Boatex 800 dinghy was produced in Canada, primarily during the 1970s through the early 1990s by Boatex Ltd. of Ontario. It was marketed as a small tender for sailboats and motor yachts—light, durable, and easy to tow or stow on deck. The boat was typically made of molded fiberglass, often with built‑in buoyancy chambers, and could be rowed, sailed (with an optional small sail rig), or powered by a lightweight outboard motor.
