Blivit 13

Blivit 13

Description

The Blivit 13 is a lightweight, car-toppable (or easily trailered) sailing dinghy from Geodesic Airolite Boats (gaboats.com), part of their Geodesic AiroLITE series of skin-on-frame (SOF) designs pioneered by Platt Monfort. These boats use a geodesic frame (stringers over forms) covered with lightweight aircraft-grade Dacron fabric (or similar) and epoxy for an ultralight, tough hull—making them exceptionally portable and quick to build compared to traditional plywood boats. It's designed as a simple, stable daysailer/rower for lakes, rivers, protected waters, or shallow bays—ideal for casual sailing, fishing, or family fun without heavy gear.
