Beneteau Idylle 13.5

Description

The Beneteau Idylle 13.5 (also known as the Idylle 1350) is a robust French bluewater cruising sailboat designed by German Frers and built by Beneteau from 1984 to 1988, with approximately 100–150 units produced. Part of the Idylle range—Beneteau’s early line of comfort-focused cruisers distinct from the performance-driven First series—it prioritizes spacious accommodations, seaworthiness, and traditional styling for long-distance cruising or liveaboard use. This 44-footer shares design influences with the Idylle 15.5 but is more manageable for smaller crews, featuring a moderate fin keel and skeg-hung rudder for stability and protection in offshore conditions. A 1985 review praised its “elegant lines and hotel-like interior,” noting its ability to balance speed and comfort for extended passages.

Disclaimer. Boats are not all the same -- even when produced in the same factory of the same model. Sailrite does its best to publish accurate dimensions, but we often find it worthwhile to have our customers measure their boats carefully before we produce kits for them.
