Bauer 10 Sloop Rig

Description

The Bauer 10 is a versatile, high-quality fiberglass daysailer and yacht tender designed by Christof Bauer and built by Bauteck Marine Corporation since 1983, with approximately 200–250 units produced as of 2025. Featuring a fractional sloop rig with reefable main, retractable centerboard, beaching rudder, and high freeboard, it’s optimized for stability, ease of handling, and multi-purpose use (sailing, rowing, motoring). Its lightweight, hand-laid fiberglass construction with epoxy moisture barriers and teak trim ensures durability and low maintenance, making it ideal for family day sailing, junior training, or serving as a tender for larger yachts.
