Antares 44

Description

The Antares 44 is a premier blue water cruising catamaran designed by Ted Clements and built by Antares Yachts in Argentina, evolving from the PDQ Antares 42 after PDQ ceased sailboat production in 2002. Introduced in 2003, with variants like the 44i (improved), 44 GS (grand salon), and 44 GT (grand tourer, 2020), it’s engineered for long-range liveaboard comfort and safety, featuring twin Yanmar diesel engines (2 x 40 hp, shaft drive), a self-tacking jib, and optional hybrid propulsion. Its wide beam, low draft, and spacious layout (3 cabins, 2 heads) make it ideal for families or couples, with superior storage and ergonomics for ocean passages.
