Annapolis 35

Description

The Annapolis 35 is a classic fiberglass cruising sailboat, also known as one of several names under which this design was marketed, including the Young Sun 35 and similar to the Sunrise 35. Built by the Ta Chiao Enterprises shipyard in Taiwan starting in 1980, it's a heavy-displacement monohull designed for bluewater cruising, emphasizing stability, seaworthiness, and long-distance voyaging rather than speed or racing. At 39 feet overall (nominal 35 feet waterline), it features a cutter rig (often configured as a ketch in some variants), full keel for excellent tracking, and a spacious interior suitable for 4–6 people with berths, a galley, and head. Production limited to the 1980s with roughly 100 produced.

Disclaimer. Boats are not all the same -- even when produced in the same factory of the same model. Sailrite does its best to publish accurate dimensions, but we often find it worthwhile to have our customers measure their boats carefully before we produce kits for them. You should take the same precautions, especially when the data is not from Sailrite.
